What a much friendlier setup... Why did we ever choose ProBoards? I still don't get what "php" is, though I just looked at the Wikipedia article on it. Sure, it's some kind of scripting language, but what does it mean for a forum site?

This board is only a test. The official board will be created and released...

January 1, 2008!

Yes, in just one week, the super-special-awesome (a "Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series" reference) official phpBB board will be released. Until then, we'll use the ProBoards board AND this board. On January 1, this board will be deleted and the new board will be unveiled! (In case you're wondering, the PB board will stay, but it will be completely locked. No one will be able to post, and no new members will be able to sign up.) I think that you, Sam, and I should think of a name for our new board together -- it'll be a mostly-random forum, so we need a pretty random name.
